I’m a trained member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP), the UK’s professional body for editorial excellence in English language editing and proofreading, which means I follow its Professional Practice Code on every project.
But that’s not all.
Before going freelance in 2020, I spent two decades in the creative industry as a graphic designer, print production QC, traffic manager, and creative services manager.
And in each role, I also served as the in-house proofreader.
